The family-owned Donkieskraal is situated in the Sandveld, Leipoldtville in the West Coast. Visiting Donkieskraal is an amazing experience and should be on everyone’s bucket list.
You are spoilt for choice when looking at your accommodation. From tents to camping spots and chalets, Donkieskraal will have a place for you to kick off your shoes and enjoy the best of what nature has to offer. Besides the communal braai area, you will also have your own braai facility.
The lodge is self-catering, but a breakfast option can be arranged. From December guests can also be spoilt with a pizza and burger menu.
Donkieskraal has a fully licensed bar and can cater for big or small groups. Visit the 5000-year-old caves with Bushman drawings or choose something more adventurous like a hike or a more challenging cycling route. A Safari tour can be arranged as well.
Visitors will travel on a tar road to the Sandberg farm, from there it is a 5km gravel road to the lodge.
