FAME WEEK AFRICA 2022 PROVED TO BE THE GO-TO PLACE FOR CREATIVE PROFESSIONALS IN SA:
Fame Week Africa’s first full scale live event did not disappoint. After the successful media and industry launch in 2021, Fame Week Africa was ready to taking this event to the next level. Taking pride in reshaping the future African creative industry in Cape Town, Fame Week Africa in collaboration with several industry partners, brought an inspirational week to live.
Recognizing the important role played by African talent, African stories and African innovation, Fame Week Africa creates an annual platform for creatives to network, collaborate and inspire. The 2022 show was dead-lined by MIP Africa and Muziki Africa in the Host City of Cape Town with Guest Country; United States and Gold Partner; MultiChoice.

With amazing representation of the creative industry, Fame Week Africa 2022 filled the CTICC with tools and network possibilities to help the creative industry grow and flourish. The days were filled with meetings, screenings, exhibitions, the marketplace and conferences encouraging role players to exchange and network to build lasting businesses.
Event Director Judy Goddard says the highlight for her was the industry coming together and meeting after the challenging time everyone in the industry endured.
“We had overwhelming feedback and consider the event a success. We also take into consideration the feedback as a learning opportunity to improve and build an amazing experience.” -Judy-
